Todd Lynn.....London Fashion Week

So I finally made it to London fashion week. Five minutes in ready to take my first snap and nothing happens. Memory card in my laptop. Nooooo! So trying not to panic I just ran to go buy one  hoping straight away I would find one. Few! So back I went ready to begin backstage at the Todd Lynn show. I think I prefer to work back stage then to watch the show sometimes. It’s exciting seeing all the stress back stage and help get things ready for this one show to run smoothly. Seeing all the delicate garments pressed and ready to be put onto the models is quite magical and knowing that these garments have so much to say in the 8 minutes they are on the run way.
I was quite surprised with the vibe I got from Todd. He was so chilled out. I guess his done so many shows he knows everything is going to be perfect. It was nice to see how passionate his team was.
Having spoken to majority of his interns they all said how much they have learnt working at Todd Lynn and the involvement Todd lets them have. They all had good feedback and said he is a lovely person to work for and it’s been the best experience for them yet. This deffently means a positive thing for the future of fashion. I think sometimes people forget that if the youth are not trained and given opportunity to develop then what hope do we have.

Enjoy x

Swoon Exhibition.....Shoreditch

I'm so glad i made it to this exhibition 'Murmuration' by artist Swoon. It's inspiring enough heading to east London and being surrounded by the amazing colourful ever changing street art. It's even better when you stumble across an exhibition like this one.
The exhibition was made up of cardboard illustrations of mermaids with bright colours and thick black outlines. She is known for her pasted works portraying people, often friends and family, on the streets in various places around the
world. The pieces are usually found on uninhabited locations or abandoned buildings.
This is deffently an exhibition that gave me loads of inspiration and motivations for my own work. I hope it does for you. Enjoy. x

Pretty Summer Dresses......Cinque Terre

Breathtaking.....Cinque Terre

If you ever get the chance to see this place it is a must see. Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the italian Rivera. There are five villages; Monterroso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. If you hike in between the villages the views are breath taking as you can see from my pictures.
